How To Make Bumblebee Chocolate Bark: An Easy Summer Dessert
April 23, 2026
This bumblebee chocolate bark is an easy summer dessert for kids that can be made ahead for parties, celebrations, or as a poolside snack. Made with three simple ingredients, this chocolate bark will be a hit with both kids and adults this summer.

I love pairing this bumble bee chocolate bark with this honey bee slime because they pair together so well with the bee-theme (just try not to mix them up, even though the slime is edible). My kids love snacking on the chocolate bark while playing with their slime – they will play with slime forever! We usually make the slime first and they play with it while I make the chocolate bark. You can also get your kids involved in this recipe and have them help you melt the chocolate and decorate!

What You’ll Need To Make This Easy Summer Dessert
How To Make Bumble Bee Chocolate Bark
1. Prep Your Dish
Line a baking dish or tray with wax paper. This keeps the bark from sticking and makes cleanup easy.
2. Melt the Chocolate
Place your white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20–30 second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted. If using a double boiler, stir gently until melted.

3. Spread the Chocolate
Pour the melted chocolate onto the wax paper and spread it into an even layer using a spoon or spatula.
4. Add Bumble Bee Details
While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle on the yellow and black jelly beans. Scatter them around so every piece gets a little color. Finish by adding bumble bee sprinkles across the top.

5. Chill to Set
Place the tray in the refrigerator for about 30–45 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely firm.
