This fork painted palm tree craft is always a hit with little ones. I love using this palm tree craft twice in the year – once in the summer and again in August. Even though it’s a palm tree, we add in an extra set of leaves and draw coconuts on it! It pairs perfectly with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and it can be used as a name craft, too! If you’re looking for a fork painting for kids, palm tree craft, or a summer craft, this is a great one to make!

If you’re looking for more fun summer crafts try this coffee filter jellyfish craft or this mermaid tail craft. They both turn out adorable and are perfect for summer!

What You’ll Need For This Fork Painted Palm Tree Craft
How To Make This Fork Painted Palm Tree Craft
Pour green and brown paint onto a paper plate or tray.
Dip the back of a fork into the brown paint.

Press and drag the fork downward on the paper to create the palm tree trunk. Add extra strokes to make it look textured.

Wipe the fork clean or use a second fork for the leaves.
Dip the fork into green paint.

Starting near the top of the trunk, drag the fork outward in different directions to create large palm leaves.

Continue layering fork strokes until your palm tree looks full and tropical.
