Recently the weather here has been beautiful and we threw a dinosaur-themed party for the kids. It was filled with dinosaur themed food, crafts, and activities that the kids loved. The star of the party was this dinosaur sidewalk chalk obstacle course. The kids went through it over and over again and had a blast. Plus, it was so easy to set up and only took about 5 minutes.

This dinosaur obstacle course has six sections, including lava jumps, river swim, and a raptor run! It’s a great screen-free activity that gets kids moving outdoors. Plus, it doesn’t have to be used for a party – you can make this dinosaur obstacle course at any time!

What You’ll Need For This Obstacle Course

  • Sidewalk chalk (lots of colors)
  • Outdoor space (driveway or sidewalk)

How To Set Up The Dinosaur Sidewalk Chalk Obstacle Course

1. Dino Stomp (Start Line)
Draw a bold START line. Just past it, sketch large dinosaur footprints.
Kids stomp from one footprint to the next like a giant dinosaur waking up the jungle.
