Materials

     Sidewalk chalk (lots of colors)

     Outdoor space (driveway or sidewalk)

Instructions

1. Dino Stomp (Start Line)
Draw a bold START line. Just past it, sketch large dinosaur footprints.
Kids stomp from one footprint to the next like a giant dinosaur waking up the jungle.

2. Lava Jumps
Draw the top of a volcano with lava flowing out in squiggly lines across the path. Kids must jump over the lava without touching it.

3. River Swim
Create a wavy river on the sidewalk. Kids “swim” through by doing big arm motions or pretend paddling as they cross.

4. T-Rex Hide & Hop
Draw a big T-Rex off to the side and several bushes around it. Kids hop from bush to bush and freeze or crouch to hide from the dinosaur before it “spots” them.

5. Raptor Run
Draw a long squiggly line zig-zagging forward. Kids must follow the line quickly, running like a speedy raptor on the hunt.

6. Victory Roar
At the finish, write “Victory Roar.” Kids strike their fiercest pose and let out a loud dinosaur roar to celebrate completing the course.
