I love pairing these flip flop cookies with these beach crab cookies and these pineapple cupcakes on a summer dessert board.

What You’ll Need For These Flip Flop Cookies

How To Make Flip Flop Cookies

1. Melt each color of candy in a separate bowl according to the package instructions.

2. Transfer around 2 tablespoons of each color to a separate piping bag and set aside.

3. Dip a cookie in the melted chocolate until fully coated, then remove from the melted chocolate with a fork. Lightly tap the handle of the fork on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate, then transfer the cookie to a piece of parchment paper to cool. Repeat the process until you have six cookies of each color.

Melt the Chocolate Slowly. Melt the candy melts slowly in the microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Over-melting the chocolate will make it hard.

Use Parchment Paper. After dipping the nutter butters in the melting chocolate, lay them on parchment paper. The cookies will stick to anything other than parchment paper.

Let Them Dry. Allow the nutter butters to dry fully before adding in the classic V for the flip flops.
