  • 1 cup brown sugar

Here’s how to make your own festive Fourth of July bark candy that’s perfect for patriotic parties!

Prepare the Pan and Crackers

Line a jelly roll pan with parchment, and line up the 35 saltines into an even layer (if your pan is larger you can use more saltines).

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

Heat the Butter and Sugar

In a medium saucepan, heat the butter and brown sugar to a boil, and boil 2-3 minutes.

Add the Mixture and Bake

Pour this mixture over the saltine crackers, and quickly smooth out evenly. Bake the covered crackers in the oven for 6-8 minutes. Mixture will be bubbly and boiling.

Add the Chocolate Chips

Remove from the oven and sprinkle the white chocolate chips over top.
Give those 1-2 minutes to begin melting, and smooth out evenly.

Chill to Set

Allow the bark to cool, and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour to set.
