I made this patriotic red, white, and blue drink (also known as firecracker fizz) for the kids this week and they went crazy for it! It’s the perfect patriotic drink that actually keeps the red, white, and blue layers without mixing! I used the kids’ favorite gatorade along with cranberry juice and lemon lime soda to create this beautiful patriotic drink. We topped it with a red twizzler and whipped cream to finish off the red, white, and blue look!

How To Make This Patriotic Red, White, and Blue Drink
Fill each mason jar with ice cubes.
Place 2–3 Twizzlers into the jar so they stick out like firecracker fuses.
Pour cranberry juice into the bottom of the jar until it is about 1/3 full.
Slowly add lemon lime soda over the cranberry juice.
Carefully pour blue Gatorade on top to create a fun layered look.
Add whipped cream around the Twizzlers on top.
Important Tips For This Patriotic Recipe
Pour each drink slowly over the back of a spoon to help keep the colorful layers separated. The slower you pour, the more dramatic the red, white, and blue effect will look. Place the spoon against the inner rim slightly above the liquid and pour slowly.
Feel free to substitute other drinks if you or your kids don’t care for the cranberry juice or lemon lime soda.
