This patriotic s’mores dip is an easy Memorial Day or Fourth of July dessert for kids and adults. Made with all the classic s’mores ingredients, you can bake this delicious s’mores dip in the comfort of your home. It’s designed to resemble the American flag and tastes exactly like s’mores. It’s a great addition to any Fourth of July party because it takes less than 20 minutes to make and will be loved by all.

I love making this patriotic funfetti dip as well as not all guests enjoy chocolate. I also make these easy cheesecake bars to add to the dessert table because they always WOW my guests. With a simple Oreo crust and a rich, colorful cheesecake filling, this recipe comes together super easily and tastes as good as it looks.

How To Make Patriotic S’mores Dip
Prep the marshmallows by lightly dipping a handful of marshmallows into water, just enough to make them sticky. Roll some in red sanding sugar, roll some in blue sanding sugar, and leave some plain white.
Build the base by spreading an even layer of chocolate into the bottom of an oven-safe dish.

Create the flag design by placing the marshmallows on top of the chocolate. Use blue marshmallows in the top corner for the “stars” section. Then, alternate rows of red and white marshmallows to form stripes

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10–12 minutes, or until the marshmallows are soft and lightly toasted.

Serve warm with graham crackers. Scoop straight down into that molten chocolate layer and prepare for sticky fingers.
Important Recipe Notes For This Patriotic S’mores Dip

Dip the Marshmallows: Lightly dip the marshmallows in water. Only a little water is needed for the sanding sugar to stick. Avoid over-saturating the marshmallows.
Build the Flag: Depending on the size of your dish, you may have more or less stripes on the flag. Turn the marshmallows sideway to fit more rows in your oven-safe dish.
Bake It: Bake the patriotic s’mores dip for about 10-12 minutes. Keep an eye on the dip as ever oven is different and it may cook faster or slower depending on your oven and rack placement. Pull the s’mores dip out when the marshmallows are lightly toasted. Leaving them in longer can burn them and will ruin the aesthetic of the dip.
