This week I made these patriotic rice krispie treats that were so easy to make (it seriously takes about 5 minutes!) If you’re looking for patriotic recipes, rice krispie recipes, Memorial Day recipes, or Fourth of July recipes, these patriotic pops are a great one to try!

Rice Krispie Treats are a favorite in our house. I remember when I was younger I loved the chocolate peanut butter ones and would eat them all the time. Unfortunately they discontinued them so no one will ever get to taste how good they were. Even though they are not my favorite flavor, regular rice krispie treats are so versatile and you can do a lot with them!

And, if you’re looking for more patriotic recipes to pair with these patriotic rice krispie treats, try this patriotic s’mores dip, this firecracker fudge, or these easy flag cookies. They are all so delicious and kid-friendly, even though adults will love them, too!

    Important Tips For This Recipe

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between each. This prevents the chocolate from burning.

If the Rice Krispie treats start to crack, gently wiggle the popsicle stick while inserting it instead of pushing straight through.

If wanted, you can dip the entire rice krispie treat in the white chocolate and add sprinkles.
