Broccoli is Trying to Kill Me is a hilarious story Broccoli is Trying to Kill Me is a hilarious story about those deadly vegetables, especially broccoli 🥦

While grown-ups say vegetables are good for you, kids know that truth - that these vegetables are evil! They make devious plans inside the refrigerator, sneak out, and attack! And broccoli is the WORST! You better run if you see broccoli!!

This is such a fun story that is great for kids who don’t like vegetables and picky eaters! The story is so fun and kids will be giggling through the entire thing. The illustrations are so good in this one - you can definitely tell those veggies are evil by just looking at them! This book is a must-have for your library!

Many thanks to @holidayhousepeachtree for sending me a copy of the book!

Let’s learn about food around the world! People Let’s learn about food around the world!

People around the world eat all kinds of different foods. In Namibia people eat porridge for breakfast and people in Germany eat sausage and fries for lunch. One food that people eat all over the world is rice! The food we eat is connected to our culture!

This is the perfect book for comparing and contrasting what people eat around the word. Kids can see the similar foods others eat and different foods they’ve never tried. It was fun to read all about different foods, like the yak’s milk butter from Tibet.

Many thanks to @pubspotlight for sending me a copy of the book❤️

What Do You Do When Your Dog Grows Old? What do What Do You Do When Your Dog Grows Old?

What do you do when your dog’s eyes turn milky and they have a hard time hearing you? You give them extra love and attention, of course!

Get ready to cry!! This book is so sweet, yet sad😢
Thankfully my dog isn’t quit old yet (he’s only 5!) so I don’t have to worry about losing him. This book perfectly describes the love between pup and his/her mom/dad🩷 When our pups get older we have to give them extra love - they are only here for so long. It’s the perfect gift for any one who has a dog!

Many thanks to @pubspotlight for sending me a copy of the book! 🐶

Mi Cielo, My Sky is a beautiful ode to the love be Mi Cielo, My Sky is a beautiful ode to the love between parent and child.

This bilingual book shares the love between a mom and her baby. Kids are able to hear words in Spanish and English, while enjoying a story that will uplift them. The poetic language has a gentle tone and celebrates the quiet moments between parent and child.

Many thanks to @simonkids for sending me a copy of the book! 🩵
