Made with white chocolate, candy sprinkles, and gummy sharks, this shark bark is an easy shark week dessert that both adults and kids will love. Plus, this shark bark can be made at any point during the summer, not just shark week! You can even make it to accompany lessons about sharks, the ocean, or habitats.

What You’ll Need To Make This Shark Week Dessert

  • White chocolate melts
  • Blue food coloring
  • Gummy sharks
  • Sprinkles (blue, white, ocean-themed)
  • Parchment paper
  • Baking dish or tray
  • Toothpick

How To Make Shark Bark

1. Melt the chocolate
Melt white chocolate in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

2. Prepare your tray
Line a baking dish or tray with parchment paper.

3. Pour and spread
Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment paper and spread it into an even layer.

4. Add color and swirl
Drop a few drops of blue food coloring onto the chocolate. Use a toothpick to gently swirl it around, creating ocean-like waves.

5. Decorate
Place gummy sharks on top while the chocolate is still soft. Sprinkle with ocean-themed sprinkles.

6. Chill to set
Place the tray in the fridge for about 30–60 minutes, or until fully hardened.

7. Break and enjoy
Once set, break into pieces and serve.
