Christmas has a way of making everything feel a little sweeter, and the treats are usually where kids get most excited. In this post, I’m sharing some of my favorite Christmas treats for kids — things that are festive, fun to make together, and don’t require professional decorating skills to turn out looking cute. From simple no-bake options to treats little hands can help decorate, this list is meant to make holiday baking feel doable, not stressful. Whether you’re looking for something for a classroom party, a fun weekend activity, or just a sweet way to countdown to the big day, there’s a few Christmas treats here to fit every occasion.

Reindeer Hot Chocolate

Nothing captures the magic of Christmas quite like a mug of warm cocoa, and reindeer hot chocolate takes holiday cheer to the next level. Sweet reindeer-shaped packets of cocoa are layered with mini chocolate chips, and marshmallows. Afterwards, they are topped with a googly-eyed reindeer face, complete with a bright red pom-pom nose.

Grinch Gingerbread Cookies

This year, instead of the standard gingerbread men, try giving those cookies a mischievous holiday twist. These Grinch gingerbread cookies are festive and loads of fun. They bring together the comforting warmth of classic gingerbread with a playful nod to the season’s favorite green character.

Reindeer Sugar Cookies

Sweet, chocolatey, and oh-so-adorable, Reindeer Sugar Cookies bring instant cheer to the dessert table. With golden sugar cookies as the base, topped by swirls of chocolate frosting, salty pretzel antlers, candy eyes, and bright red M&M noses, these holiday sugar cookies transform into Rudolph and his reindeer friends right before your eyes.

Christmas Tree Brownies

A plain pan of brownies can be made into a batch of cheerful Christmas tree brownies faster than Santa can say “ho ho ho.” These little trees are rich, chocolatey, and full of charm. Each one is dressed up with swoops of “tinsel” and tiny Christmas light sprinkles that shimmer like real decorations.
