How To Make A Star Wars Felt Lightsaber Popsicle Holder

April 9, 2026

This Star Wars felt lightsaber popsicle holder is a fun and unique Star Wars Craft for May 4th. Kids can use their felt lightsaber to hold their popsicle without cold hands. Plus, it’s great at catching any spills and since it is felt, you can gently wash it and reuse it every year!

I love to pair this Star Wars Day craft with this Darth Vader hat because my kids love to run around and pretend to battle with their lightsabers. One wears the hat to be Darth Vader and the others try to defeat them.

    • Let kids experiment with different shapes and details to create their own unique lightsaber designs. Even though a traditional lightsaber is gray and black, kids can choose any color felt to create their lightsaber.
    • Let the glue dry completely before handling. If the glue isn’t dry, the lightsaber will fall apart and the popsicle will fall out.
    • Personalize the lightsaber popsicle holder by adding a name and date to it.
