How To Make Cinnamon Sugar Bunny Twists

- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tube white frosting
Step-by-Step Instructions To Make This Easter Dessert
1. Bring the puff pastry to room temperature as directed on the box.
2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

3. Melt the butter in the microwave. Use 30 second intervals and stir in between to ensure you don’t burn the butter. Brush all the puff pastry along the center leaving a small edge all along at top, bottom, and sides.

4. In a bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it over the buttered area.
5. Place a second puff pastry over the top and using a fork press along all sides.

6. Slice lengthwise with a pizza cutter to make 1/2 inch strips. Pull and twist twice at the top to make a loop and then bunny ears at the top.

7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 17 minutes.
8. If you apply frosting wait for the bunnies to cool before adding it.
Important Recipe Notes
Adding Butter: When adding the melted butter, make sure to stop before the edge of the puff pastry. This small section without butter will allow the pastry to stick together and stay closed.
Icing: Let the bunnies cool completely before adding the icing or it will melt. The icing is meant to look like the bunny’s tail, but feel free to add icing on the entire dessert.
Cinnamon and Sugar: Be generous with the cinnamon and sugar to ensure you get the delicious taste we all desire.
