Learn all about ways we use water around the world Learn all about ways we use water around the world with this fun book in the “Welcome To My World” series. From drinking water to cooking with it to washing our clothes, we use water everyday. Not everyone lives in a place where water is easy to find. The San people live in the Kalahari Desert and use a straw made from a plant stem to drink rainwater that collects in small holes in trees.
Follow along as we learn how people all around the world collect and use water.

This book contains so many interesting facts about people around the world using water, like fog nets that can collect water from fog. It’s the perfect book to pair with any science lesson & for Earth Day. Just like the rest of the series, the information is kid-friendly and great for younger and older kids.

Ramadan is approaching quickly & this new book per Ramadan is approaching quickly & this new book perfectly describes the community, connection, and joy of Ramadan.

Our main character asks Baba, “What does a Ramadan night feel like?” Follow along as the boy and his father head out to go pray Taraweeh, and the boy learns all about the sights, sounds, smells, and feeling of a Ramadan night.

@nadinepresleyauthor and @asma.enayeh make such a great team! The beautiful illustrations perfectly match the story and bring it to life.

A Ramadan Night is one of my favorite Ramadan books I’ve read. The sensory descriptions of the boy’s night make learning about Ramadan fun and easy for kids. It’s definitely a must have for your classroom library!

Many thanks to @simonkids for sending me a copy of the book💚
