Remember when you were little & you thought grown Remember when you were little & you thought grown ups knew everything? Then you grew up to realize that they really don’t? That is what Hot Food Nice is all about! Our main character thought his dad knew everything. As a kid, his dad helped him learn all about the world, which prompted him to think, “My dad knows everything!” But, one terrible day, he found out that his dad did NOT know everything… It started at dinner time. The family was having potatoes. They were a little hot so he only puts a little on his fork & blows on it before eating it. His brother does the same. So does his mom. But dad? No, dad doesn’t do that. He puts a GIANT fork full of potatoes in his mouth. And that’s how the boy learned that his dad doesn’t know everything… This story is so funny & will be a hit with kids! It approaches the topic of adults not *always* knowing everything in a fun and relatable way. I mean, who hasn’t put a giant chunk of hot potatoes in their mouth?😂 This is a great read to remind kids that no one knows everything & we can rely on others for help when we need it!
