Turn strawberries into adorable Halloween ghosts! These chocolate covered strawberry ghosts are easy to make and perfect for spooky season treats.
2 lb. fresh strawberries
24 ounces vanilla almond bark
About 8 ounces chocolate chips
Wash and dry the strawberries
Line a large baking sheet with parchment
Add the vanilla almond bark to a microwave safe bowl, and microwave for 30 second increments, stirring well in between, until melted.
Dip the strawberries into the almond bark. Let some of the excess candy bark drip off, but not all.
When you place the strawberries on the parchment, push forward just a bit and then drag the berry backwards about half an inch, to make the ghost tail.
Place the dipped berries in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the candy set.
For the face, add the chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl and heat for 20 second increments, stirring well in between, until melted.
Add this chocolate to a piping bag and snip off just the tip.
Draw the ghost face onto the berries with the melted chocolate chips.
Place in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes to let the candy fully set, and enjoy.
