Instructions

How to Set Up the Toy Story Forky Playdough Tray

  1. Roll small balls of white, red, and blue playdough and place them in the center of a divided tray.
  2. Fill the remaining sections with:
    • Googly eyes in assorted sizes
    • Red pipe cleaners
    • Craft sticks
    • Spoon
    • Black marker
  3. Invite children to explore the materials and recreate Forky.

How to Make Forky

  1. If using a plain white spoon instead of a spork, use a black marker to draw short lines across the top of the spoon to resemble the tines of a spork.
  2. Press a small amount of white playdough onto the bottom of the spoon to create Forky’s feet.
  3. Push two broken craft sticks into the playdough at an angle to form his legs.
  4. Wrap a red pipe cleaner around the spoon to make Forky’s arms. Bend each end upward to create fun poses.
  5. Add two googly eyes near the top of the spoon with white playdough. Using different-sized eyes gives Forky his signature look.
  6. Roll a thin cylinder of red playdough and press it above the eyes to create his eyebrow.
  7. Roll another thin cylinder of blue playdough, shape it into an oval and attach it below the eyes for his mouth.
