Materials
- White cardstock or notebook
- Green washable paint
- Paintbrush
- Black marker
- Yellow marker
- Baby wipes or paper towels
Instructions
- Paint the entire hand with green washable paint, covering the palm, fingers, and thumb with an even coat.
- Press the painted hand firmly onto the center of a sheet of paper with the fingers together, pointing upward. Carefully lift the hand straight up to leave a clean handprint. Allow the paint to dry completely.
- Use a yellow marker to draw two large eyes near the center of the palm. Add small black dots inside each eye to create the pupils.
- Draw a wavy mouth beneath the eyes using a black marker to give the zombie a funny expression.
- Add short black lines crossed with smaller lines across the fingers and palm to create stitched scars. Place several stitches in different areas of the handprint for a classic zombie look.
- Write “Z is for Zombie” across the top of the page with a black marker to complete the alphabet craft.
