Turn a pink handprint into an adorable pig! This Letter P handprint craft combines farm animal fun, alphabet learning, and creative art for kids.
Cover the palm and fingers with pink paint. Make sure the paint is spread evenly across the entire hand.
Press the painted hand firmly onto white paper. Position the hand so the fingers point toward the bottom of the page.
Allow the paint to dry completely before adding details.
Using a paintbrush, add to the thumbprint until it is a circle shape. This will be the pig’s head. Add two small triangles for ears on top.
Draw two eyes and a small oval snout. Add nostrils inside the snout.
Color the tips of the legs black to create pig hooves.
Add a curly pig tail near the back of the body using a small brush and pink paint.
Write “P is for Pig” underneath the artwork.
The project is now ready to display as part of an alphabet wall or farm animal collection.
