Turn a green handprint into a ninja with this Letter N handprint craft. It’s a fun alphabet craft for kids that builds literacy and fine motor skills.

Materials

  • Green paint
  • White paper or spiral notebook
  • Paintbrush or sponge brush
  • Markers

Instructions

Step 1: Paint the Hand

Apply green paint evenly across the palm and fingers. A paintbrush or sponge brush helps apply a smooth layer of paint. Take care not to use too much.

Make sure the fingers and palm are covered so the handprint transfers clearly to the paper.

Step 2: Stamp the Handprint

Fingers together, press the child’s painted hand firmly onto white paper. Lift the hand straight up to reveal the print.

Allow the paint to dry completely before adding details. The handprint forms the face of the ninja.

Step 3: Add the Ninja Mask

Using a marker, draw a horizontal ninja mask across the upper portion of the handprint. Extend the mask slightly beyond the edges of the handprint and add small ties on one side.

This simple detail immediately transforms the painted print into a recognizable ninja character.

Step 4: Draw the Face

Use a black marker to draw two small eyes inside the mask opening.

Below the mask, draw a curved smile to create a friendly ninja face.

Step 5: Write the Letter Phrase

Under the artwork, write: N is for Ninja. This step reinforces letter recognition and completes the project.
