Lemon Slime Recipe

This lemon slime recipe is the most fun and refreshing summer sensory activity for kids! Easy to make with simple ingredients and perfectly stretchy every time.

Materials

     1/2 cup clear glue

     1/2 cup water

     1 teaspoon baking soda

     Yellow food coloring

     2-3 tbsp Saline solution/contact solution

     Bowl and spoon

     Plastic lemon slices for decoration (optional)

Instructions

1.   Pour the clear glue into a bowl.

2.   Add the water.

3.   Mix in the baking soda and stir until fully combined.

4.   Add a few drops of yellow food coloring and stir until the slime mixture turns bright lemon yellow.

5.   Slowly add saline solution a little at a time while stirring.

6.   Keep mixing until the slime begins pulling away from the bowl.

7.   Knead the slime with your hands until smooth and stretchy. Add a few extra drops of saline solution if it still feels sticky.

8.   Place the slime in a cup and decorate with fake lemon slices for extra lemonade stand fun!
