Materials

     Brown construction paper

     Red construction paper

     Yellow construction paper

     Orange construction paper

     Red marker

     Scissors

     Glue stick or school glue

Instructions

1. Cut Out the Crust

Draw and cut out a large letter P from brown construction paper. This forms the pizza crust and base of the craft. The size should be wide enough to hold toppings.

2. Add the Sauce

Cut out a red letter P the same size as the brown one. Then trim the edge away in a wavy, scalloped pattern to recreate the wavy outline of pizza sauce. Glue the red P onto the brown one, leaving a visible brown edge to resemble the crust.

3. Create the Cheese

Cut skinny yellow rectangles from construction paper. These strips represent cheese. Vary lengths slightly to create more visual interest. Glue the cheese strips over the sauce in a random pattern, allowing some red to peek through.

4. Prepare the Pepperoni

Cut orange circles from construction paper for pepperoni slices. Use a red marker to draw small dots on each circle to add detail and texture.

5. Add the Toppings

Glue the pepperoni circles onto the cheese-covered letter P. Arrange them evenly or cluster them in patterns to encourage creative design choices.

6. Let It Dry

Allow the finished P is for Pizza paper craft to dry completely before displaying or handling.
