Materials

Thin cardboard strip cut from a cereal box or similar cardboard

     Assorted leaves

     Glue

     Scissors

     Tape or stapler

Instructions

Step 1: Measure the Crown Base
Wrap a thin strip of cardboard around your child’s head to find the correct size. Leave a little extra overlap and trim if needed.

Step 2: Secure the Crown
Tape or staple the ends of the cardboard strip together to create a crown that fits comfortably on your child’s head.

Step 3: Collect Leaves
Head outside and gather a variety of leaves. Look for different sizes, shapes, and shades of green to make the crown more interesting.

Step 4: Arrange the Leaves
Lay the leaves along the cardboard crown before gluing. Overlap them slightly to create a full, layered look.

Step 5: Glue the Leaves in Place
Glue the leaves onto the cardboard, working your way around the crown until the entire strip is covered.

Step 6: Let Dry and Wear
Allow the glue to dry completely.
