- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 10 oz. miniature marshmallows
- 6 cups rice krispies cereal
- Neon green gel food coloring
- 12 Jumbo heart sprinkles
- A heart cookie cutter (about 2.5 inch)
Instructions
- Add the butter to a large pot.
- Heat over medium heat, until melted.
- Add the marshmallows, stirring as they melt.
- Once the marshmallows have melted, add a generous amount of neon green gel food coloring to the melted mixture.
- Stir well to combine.
- Remove from the heat and stir in rice krispies.
- Stir until the cereal is well coated.
- Press this mixture into a large 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Press the heart cookie cutter into the rice krispies to cut out heart shapes.
- Once you get as many hearts as you can, you can press the remaining rice krispie mixture together to press more treats.
- Add a jumbo heart sprinkle to each treat.
- Allow to set, about 1 hour, and enjoy.
