This chick handprint craft is an easy spring craft that uses simple materials you already own. It makes a beautiful keepsake craft that will be cherished for years to come.
Yellow Paint
Paintbrush
Scissors
Paper
Black Marker
Orange Marker
Using the paintbrush, paint your hand yellow, making sure to completely cover your entire hand.
Stamp your hand down on the paper, leaving your fingers relaxed. There’s no need to spread your fingers wide or keep them close together – a relaxed hand works best.
Wash the paint off your hand and let the handprint dry completely before moving on to step 4.
Once the handprint is dry, cut it out, leaving a small edge of white paper around it.
Use the orange marker to draw a chick beak in the center of the handprint, where there is no paint. Add two legs with feet at the bottom.
Finally, use the black marker to draw two eyes above the beak.
