How To Make A Star Wars Felt Lightsaber Popsicle Holder

These felt lightsaber popsicle holders are the perfect craft for May 4th. Kids will love creating these holders that can double as pretend play!


  • Total Time15 + dry time

Materials

     Gray felt

     Black felt

     Red and/or blue felt

     Scissors

     Glue (fabric glue or hot glue with supervision)

     Popsicles


Instructions

1.   Cut out gray felt squares. Measure it to the size of the popsicle.

2.   Fold the gray square in half.

3.   Glue the bottom and side edges together, leaving the top open to form a pocket.

4.   Cut out a small black square and two thin rectangles. Glue them onto the gray felt.

5.   Cut out a red or blue circle and glue it onto the gray felt.

6.   Slide a popsicle in to form the “lightsaber blade”

 

Tip: Let kids experiment with different shapes and details to create their own unique lightsaber designs.
