A chocolate bunny milkshake is a sweet celebration in a glass. This creamy chocolate treat topped with a candy bunny is a fun Easter recipe kids will love.
Chocolate Milkshake
Chocolate Whipped Cream
For Assembly
Pour heavy whipping cream in a chilled mixing bowl. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder.
Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the mixture until soft peaks form. The whipped cream should hold its shape while remaining light and fluffy.
Put the whipped cream in a piping bag or keep in the bowl, then refrigerate until milkshakes are ready.
Add chocolate ice cream and milk to a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy. The mixture should appear thick yet pourable. If the milkshake appears too thick, add a small splash of milk and blend again.
Set the milkshake aside while preparing the glass.
Drizzle chocolate syrup along the inside walls of a mason jar or tall glass.
Rotate the glass slightly so the syrup forms long chocolate streaks. This step creates a layered Easter bunny dessert look once the milkshake fills the glass.
Pour the chocolate milkshake into the prepared glass.
Top with a generous swirl of chocolate whipped cream. Drizzle chocolate syrup across the whipped cream.
Finish the Easter bunny dessert with a chocolate bunny candy placed into the whipped cream so it stands upright.
Serve immediately.
